Jake Pupdates! #5

So It’s been a while since I’ve posted or seen any news on Jake. But we have some!

Random discoveries of the day… Otis loves to dance! We danced for 45 minutes to the broadway station on my pandora. He has some pretty sweet moves and enjoyed the songs from Rent the best.

Arizona is really lazy and our dancing time consisted of me holding him and him falling asleep while I was dancing.

Momma Angelou thinks dancing is crazy & kept covering her eyes.

Jake has 2 left feet (seriously!) and decided singing was more his thing…defying gravity proved to be his theme song & he howled louder than I was singing( if you’ve ever heard me sing, you know he was LOUD!)

*Jakester is simply perfect. There isn’t a person who meets him and doesn’t fall in love. We are still waiting to do his heartworm treatment, mainly because we want him in a calmer foster home before we start to increase his success rate. If you have a calm home for this old man to recover in, please let us know!!!

Operation Education Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 certified not for profit orginazation. If you would like to learn more on how you can help please visit their website www.opedanimalrescue.com or visit their FaceBook Page www.facebook.com/OpEdAnimalRescue

We have eight, four dogs and four cats, we also put food out for the wild birds and usually have a huge garden for the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to come visit.

Yes, I have watched the dog whisperer, although I don’t anymore (don’t have cable, by choice).

Jake used to be our neighbors dog, but our neighbor passed away last Oct. so we found a rescue that would take him and have him vetted and get him adopted to a new home. He is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and doing well with Operation Education Animal Rescue. I try to keep tabs on him and help out with OpEd as much as I can.
