In case any of you were wondering, Putt-Putt’s nose is healed and has been for a while.
Had I thought about it I would have taken a before picture, but all I have is a four-day after picture.
As you can see it’s nearly healed!
All I used on it was Vetericyn. (NOTE: I did receive two bottles; one liquid and one gel using last years BlogPaws Promo code)
What is Vetericyn?
Vetericyn Animal Wound and Skin Care products are innovative topical solutions for the care of wounds and irritations. Vetericyn is non-toxic, steroid-free and antibiotic-free and will not sting when applied (I can vouch, while Putt-Putt didn’t care for being spritzed on the muzzle, he did not have a pain reaction). There is no rinsing or staining after use. Vetericyn is intended for OTC management of skin abrasions, lacerations, minor irritations, cuts and intact skin.
What Makes It Unique?
Vetericyn Wound and Skin Care products are unique from other animal wound cleansers/dressings because of their safety profile. They are safe for use on all animal species regardless of age and condition. Vetericyn Wound and Skin Care is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-irritating, non-staining, and safe to use on or around the eyes (so long as the cornea is not ruptured), nose and mouth. Vetericyn does not harm healthy tissue. Vetericyn does not contain steroids, alcohol, tea tree oil or antibiotics and is biodegradable. Vetericyn Wound and Skin Care is manufactured within an appropriate physiological pH range and is shelf-stable. It can be easily applied with no mixing or dilution required and does not require rinsing after use.
*Do not let Vetericyn freeze or the active ingredients will be neutralized!
What Animals Can It Be Used On?
It is safe for all animals; mammals, reptiles, and avian!
Vetericyn contains no ingredients that would result in a positive blood or urine analytical test for non-permitted substances in race or show animals (if ingested or licked). Since there are no banned substances and no steroids or antibiotics, Vetericyn tests free for competitive animals.
And did I mention:
