Wordless Wednesday #13

I can’t wait for the temps to start rising and stay up! I’m over all this cold.

The pups, I know will not be looking forward to the warmer months like I am, but at least most of our adventures involve water!

I find myself looking at pictures of warmer days just to tide me over until the warmer months do arrive.

One of the rare times we can capture Putt-Putt looking goofy, he usually puts his stern face on as soon as the camera comes out.

It is interesting how depending on where you are the climate can be totally different! 86 degrees would be lovely, for me, the pups wouldn’t care to much for it. We’ll hit those temps soon enough though.

Aren’t they all? A friend of ours from the Bark Park has a border collie named Suki, her and Willow share so many little quirks that they could very easily be the same dog!

None of us are summer fans, not even Mom. We don’t like the heat and prefer walking in the colder months, but right now we are all ready to be done with the super cold stuff. If only it would be 75 and no warmer in the summer! It is what it is, we walk early to avoid the heat and there are more critters to chase and watch! Time to put on my thick fur and head out in the cold once again! Happy WW!

I personally love the heat, but of course our fluffy-butts don’t, so we also walk them either early morning or early evening. If we do take them out during the day in the summer it is almost always someplace with a lot of water for some swimming.

Our nights are still pretty cold here, in fact just last night we dropped into the 20s. I can’t wait for the nights to be in the upper 50s though, those are perfect nights for glow in the dark frisbee!

That was yesterday, as long I was in the sun I felt warm, but the second I moved, I got cold. The pups of course loved it! It was just perfect for them get super spunky and beg me to take them somewhere.

Thank you! Kevin was the photographer, I unfortunately can’t take near a good pictures of the pups, even when I use the same camera!

I can understand that, I probably would be saying the same thing if I lived in FL. But since I don’t, you need to mail us some of that heat! lol

I agree, last weekend we were in the 70s! Then this cold front hit and dropped us back down to 30s and 40s, we are slowly warming up though, after this current storm front passes the weather man is calling for one more day of cold than back to our nice warm spring weather!

Thank you, all but one (Willow) just kind of dropped in our lap. It happened(s) so often with Kevin that he can actually say in his entire adult life he has never actively sought out a dog, they all came to him.

I feel warmer already! We love to post summer pictures in the Winter and Winter pictures in the Summer keeps things in perspective! Love Dolly

I have to agree with that. We often tend to forget just how cold a winter can get when we are in the thick of summer and begging for cold and vice versa.

Thank you, it is! These were taken on the Stones River, it runs parallel to our normal walking route on our local Greenway. We always make it a point to stop here and let the dogs play or cool off if there aren’t any fishermen on the river.
